PERSONAL TRAINER

I've been training since I was 16, starting with a rusty bench and 5kg dumbbells in my garage. I slowly made progress over the years playing oz tag but was making every mistake possible without knowing it.

In 2022 I tore my ACL, MCL and meniscus. My knee quite literally exploded. Rehabbing the injury under a great physio who taught me the real importance of load management, progressive training and actually listening to your body, but in chasing strength and numbers it came at the expense of my mental and physical health because I had no idea about nutrition.

That experience changed everything. Since then I've invested heavily in my education across biomechanics, nutritional science, sleep, stress and recovery because I never want my clients making the same mistakes as I did. I spent my time at Athletes Authority working alongside Australia's best strength and conditioning coaches, training athletes from amateur all the way to professional level. That taught me the difference between knowing something in theory and actually understanding the whole person in front of you.

Now I coach everyday people at Riley's Gym Wentworthville and online. Most of my clients come from South Asian backgrounds, the same as me so I get the culture and the food that comes with it. It's not about giving anything up, it's about balance. I've spent years building a system that gets results while helping people live a lifestyle they can actually sustain.

Not for your first session. You can come in, try a session and see if the gym and coaching is the right fit before committing to a membership. If you decide to continue with in-person coaching you will need to become a Riley's member. For online coaching your location doesn't matter — you can train anywhere in the world.
Yes. Nutrition coaching is included with online coaching and available as an add-on for in-person clients. This includes macro guidance, habit coaching, lifestyle nutrition and meal plans where appropriate.

Please note that meal plans are not prescribed for anyone with a current or history of eating disorders. If you are unsure whether nutrition coaching is right for you, just reach out and we can chat about it.

Online coaching works for all levels and is one of the most effective ways to train. Here is what you get:
  • A personalised training program delivered through a coaching app, built around your exact goals
  • A custom tracking system for habits, sleep, steps, nutrition, training and how you're feeling each week
  • A weekly check-in form alongside optional progress photos
  • Nutrition coaching with a progressive approach to food starting from wherever you currently are

  • WhatsApp access for instant communication, program updates and questions throughout the week

Every week I review your check-in, training performance and nutrition adherence. If we are on track we push forward. If not, I adjust the plan, explain why and we keep moving.

I don't offer free trials for ongoing coaching but single Personal Training sessions are available at $85. If you're not happy after your first session I offer a full refund within 7 days, no questions asked. It's the best way to experience the coaching before committing to anything ongoing.
Absolutely. Most clients started with little to no gym experience. Every program is built around your current level so you are never thrown in the deep end. If you are completely new the best starting point is a single Personal Training session or applying for weekly coaching.
Yes. Couples can train together in a shared session at $140. Both people receive full coaching and technique feedback in the session. You can book as a one-off or sign up as weekly clients. There are no discounts for couples as each person receives the same level of attention and coaching.
Not currently. My focus is one-on-one coaching because that is where real progress happens. When attention is split across a group, individual results suffer. I'm not against group training in the future but right now every client gets my full attention every session.
